Forest fun - Centre Parcs 50th Anniversary and Scandinavian mushrooms...
This month has been about indulging in my love of the forest and outdoors…it’s always really nice when I commissioned to write about things I am truly passionate about.
First up it was great to be a part of Centre Parcs 50th Issue of Village Life magazine. For all those Centre Parcs customers past and present it will be hitting your front door mats as we speak. Check out my feature 'Generation Game' on page 10.
Then there were the amazing couple who have a successful micro business producing dried mushrooms. There tale was one of love across the nations, forests and a genuine love of the outdoors. My piece can be seen in Archant’s Derbyshire Life magazine alongside a contributors quote about Autumn - a time I love…anticipation for Christmas coupled with smokey filled crisp airs, rich autumnal colours and one to add to my list now dried mushrooms courtesy of www,getfunghi.co.uk
As is the case with magazine deadlines, I have been thinking Christmas since the summer and am currently furiously finishing off my Christmas features, adding the necessary sparkle and shine! I have had a comical time interviewing pantomime directors and their teams, with some other interesting features on the simmer…I will be ready to burst with excitement by Christmas time!
